Opera Express Celebrate Black History Month at New Britain Museum of Art
Connecticut Opera presents an afternoon of music by African American composers,
spirituals, pieces from African American themed operas, and signature pieces
from great 20th century African American opera singers. Hosted by Maestro
Willie Anthony Waters, Artistic Director of Connecticut Opera, and Christopher
Devlin, Music Director, the evening will feature Connecticut Opera’s
